Hi! I'm Viridi (Ver-Rid-Ee) but you can call me Vee or Miss GM/DM if it is easier for you! As for getting to know me... well I'm pretty boring outside the whole bringing worlds and characters to life stuff lol. I love listening to music, reading, and playing video games. I have an obsession with dragons that may or may not be abnormal. (Don't ask me how I feel about the classification of dragons, wyrms, wyverns, and drakes. Sorry but I am one of those lol) And finally I love making friends with caring, kind individuals! The best games are always those played with friends, so I look forward to one day being yours should you chose me as your DM!

I wanted to become the GM I always desired, I played with family from 11 to 16 and while I had fun, it always felt like the emotional depth I wanted was missing so I started GMing for my friends and I've been the forever GM ever since lol

How Viridi Venatrix runs games
As a longtime writer and worldbuilder I offer a very immersive experience, where your characters are tied to the world and the story as much as you would like. I am always willing to work with my players on the character arc they have in mind and hope to tie it in with the themes of the overarching story. The settings I offer are varied and homebrew, some of them even adding additional mechanics to further bring the feel of the setting to life! In these many worlds I hope to help your character find a home here or even make one together! I love impassioned role-play, no matter the subject, whether it be humor or horror, heroic or humble, repellent or romantic. To endeavor in building a good ground for this I try using unique NPC's to draw in and immerse my players while also giving them plenty of opportunities to role-play between each other. I enjoy helping others feel comfortable to both be vulnerable and accepting of their fellows, helping my players cultivate their characters along the way as well. In my mind it is what I'm here for after all! Combat for me is a long-term strategy to get my players invested and avoid a grueling, mindless slugfest. I do my best to include interesting terrain and obstacles when I can, while also giving players the freedom to be creative. Additionally, I enjoy creating puzzles and riddles for my players if they so wish. Ones that are usually relating to the setting or story whenever possible.

When it comes to voices
I do my best to help bring you into a scene through the use of voices as well as help distinguish between characters. Sometimes they aren't always dependable, especially when it's been a long time since I last spoke as a certain character, but I try nonetheless!
Viridi Venatrix's ideal table
My table is for players who are consumed by the story the table is making together. The TRPG equivalent of model train collectors who create entire working railways and scene props for their hobby. Players who take notes because they want to remember what's important to their character and understand what is going on when major reveals happen. Players who pay attention to others because they know character chemistry is the backbone to any adventuring party. Players who make playlists, mood boards, and are often in my DMs with fun facts about their character. Players who ask questions that let me know they are invested and paying attention. To those players my table will give an abundance of dynamic relationships, interesting backstory ties, and well-earned character growth. Why? Because after you, I am your character's second biggest fan. :}

I love it when a player
Actively takes part in roleplay, has their own character motivations which they need no urging to follow, sinks into their character during session and acts as they actually would and not as the player would, clearly ends PC roleplay so I'm not left guessing at when a moment is finished.
My table is not the place for...
joke characters, meta-gaming, and shallow interests/lack of presence. My table is also not for players who are only interested in their own characters, but instead actively interested in the unique chemistry their character has with others and the bonds they form.
