About me

EXPERIENCE D&D PLAYER | 1977 - Present: • Tabletop Play. I have played every edition of D&D, from the Basic set of 1973 to the current 2024/2025 5th Edition. • Virtual Tabletop. I was a playtester for the 4th Edition Virtual Tabletop (VTT) in 2008-2013; I play streaming on Twitch with Laughing Dragon Inn; 2015-2024. D&D DUNGEON MASTER | 1980 - Present: • Home Games. I’ve run games mainly in my own campaign setting from the beginning. • Gen Con 2018 | Baldman Games/ Adventurer’s League. I ran 28 hours of D&D in 4 days in 3 related prewritten modules. • Virtual Tabletop on Zoom. I DM’d two inter-relating 5-player Tables on Zoom during the Pandemic Lockdown in my own campaign setting. 3rd PARTY D&D CREATOR | 2018 - Present • Midnight Moth Publications. I design and illustrate my own creations for 5th Edition compatible tabletop roleplaying games (including original Player Character classes, new Subclass options for existing Player Character classes, and a new Species) which I publish via my publishing house, Midnight Moth Publications, available on DriveThru RPG. • DMs Guild. I have written, illustrated and created maps for 5th Edition D&D adventures which are included in the Eat the Rich Anthology and In Arixmethes Clutches. I have also illustrated D&D Subclass supplements for the Blood of the Titans series. • DriveThru RPG. I have illustrated and made maps for adventures in the Eat the Rich: Revolution! and Eat the Rich: Health & Beauty adventure anthology.

GM Style

Fun and fantastical, nearly every session involves meeting interesting characters, going to new places, and getting into a challenging situation- combat or conflict, skill contest, or puzzle. I begin every session with a personal check in (“How is everyone doing?”) to be social and address any real-world stuff that might be going on that needs attention, followed by a recap of what has gone before (ideally recounted by one or some or all of the players), followed by a character check-in (“How does your character feel about what has gone before?”), and then we dive back into the game where we left off. I encourage heroics and collaboration! I center my games around the players and we all collaborate to develop the world together. Serious fun!
