How Sofia - The Kobold Guild runs games
My approach to running games is rooted in collaborative storytelling. The table works together to build the narrative, and your characters’ choices, ideas, and personalities help shape how the story unfolds. During combat, I aim to make encounters feel vivid and cinematic. Rather than simply resolving mechanics, I describe the action so you can picture the scene clearly and feel encouraged to describe your attacks, spells, and manoeuvres creatively. Combat should be just as imaginative and character-driven as roleplay. I enjoy bringing NPCs to life with character voices and mannerisms where possible. The voices may evolve from scene to scene, but players have told me my Southern belle and Australian accents are particular highlights. At its core, my role is simple: I facilitate the world and the story so that you and the rest of the table can have fun.
