About T. W.
I am a long-time writer and text-based roleplayer with a descriptive style and a love of the unexpected. I like to create memorable moments for my players so that each person has the chance to feel like the legendary hero we all want to be. I'm in my mid-30's, prefer high fantasy settings, and love throwing my own homebrews into the mix to keep things fresh and exciting.

How T. W. runs games
My style can be described in one word: eclectic. Pulling from a wide variety of inspirations allows me to craft unusual and exciting challenges and environments. I stick to RAW as often as possible, for the sake of simplicity, but I'm not afraid to make judgment calls in the moment when the situation calls for it. And, of course, the Rule Of Cool is always in play. With a combination of my own house rules and a few obscure tidbits mined from the official rules and unearthed arcana, I try to craft a truly unique and multifaceted experience for my players.

I deal with rules issues by...
talking them out. If a player can make a fair case for their dispute, I'm happy to listen.
Rules are...
strongly suggested guidelines intended to provide structure, not restrictions.
T. W.'s ideal table
I'd like to think that my tables can be defined in one word: friendly. My main goal is always to make sure that everybody present is comfortable and having a good time. If you're looking to help create a fantastic story with fun, creative people, then you'll fit right in.
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
comes up with a completely unexpected and entirely out of the box way to approach a challenge. The more audacious the intent, the more likely I am to allow the attempt.
My table is not the place for...
power playing, especially towards other players. For example, one player demanding an Insight into another player motives based on an unprompted nat20 roll. Stick to fair play, and only roll when the GM says so.
