About Spacelord Pajamas
Hey there!! I am a previous IT Professional and Technical Account Manager who now channels my passion into sharing stories, fostering creativity, and inclusiveness in gaming. Over the years, it has been my pleasure to guide hundreds of players from around the world through a variety of games, whether at my personal tables, Twitch streaming, or conventions. There is great enjoyment introducing new players to the exciting hobby of gaming. As a published writer of TTRPG content for publishers such as Onyx Path Publishing, Free League, Chaosium, and more, I have also contributed to the development of mechanics for my own RPGs and professional supplements for systems such as DnD 5e and Pugmire. You are invited to explore my reviews to see what others think and are encouraged to try one of my games to experience the awesomeness firsthand. It is my deepest commitment to ensure you have a fantastic experience!

I got started GMing...
...because I had the books and no one else wanted to run the game. #ForeverGM
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
DnD 3.5, Mecha Hack, and Battletech.
When I'm not running games I'm...
...reading, watching movies, hanging with my family, and play video games.
How Spacelord Pajamas runs games
In my gaming sessions, you can look forward to a strong focus on immersive roleplay, featuring dynamic and realistic NPCs. Prepare for epic quests, vibrant and evolving worlds, surprising plot twists, cunning adversaries, and deep-seated mysteries, all intricately tied to your characters' journeys. I thrive on delivering both chills and thrills as well as exhilarating action, while fostering innovative problem-solving. At my table, you can look forward to a few key elements: - A player’s safety and enjoyment are paramount. - Both players and character are capable. A failed roll does not necessarily mean a failed action. At the table, “failing forward” creates character growth opportunities, drama, and unexpected twists in the story. - It is the Game Master’s duty at the table to act as facilitator to the game and players – not an adversary. It is my role to assist with breathing life into the world and its characters. The goal is to ensure players have a great time, not to "defeat" them. - Some level of risk is to be expected at the table. Whether it pertains to your character's body, mind, or spirit, remember that without risk, there can be no significant reward. Characters are at their best when times are at their worst. - While I strive to create narratives crafted rich with NPCs and scenarios that center around the player’s characters, it is the players and their characters’ actions that drive the story. While there are overarching and minor plots, my games are free from rigid paths. Stories always have a beginning and a goal, but the middle is character driven.

I once ran a session...
that ran for twelve hours through the night. We survived on Arby's and Dr. Pepper and it was one of the best gaming sessions ever.
Rules are...
more like guidelines. Best to do what creates the most fun at the table while still maintaining the balance of the game's framework.
When it comes to voices
I try, and appreciate those who try as well. However, its not necessary.
Spacelord Pajamas's ideal table
Players willing to experience a good time. I like a chill, fun table. Everyone is there to have a good time, experience a game, enjoy a story, and be willing to let the dice decide everything.

I love it when a player
Comes up with something random and ingenious. Never unwilling to try anything and see where the whims of the players and the roll of dice take the game.
I think metagaming...
...is fine. But I am always willing to subvert expectations and take the meta where no one was prepared to go.
I think min/maxing...
...is boring. Its not how the game is meant to be played. Games are meant to try new and weird things and see what happens.
