About Sooch
I grew up in a place where telling stories around the campfire was a way of life, and now I bring that same spirit of adventure to my D&D tables. I had my "D&D awakening" during the pandemic, after discovering actual play podcasts. When I saw how much fun people could have with TTRPGs, I got hooked! Since then, I've been obsessed with telling amazing stories with new friends, first as a player, and now as a GM. I'd be thrilled to have you join me at the table; I'm ready to give you, and your characters, the adventure of a lifetime.

I became a GM because
I LOVE storytelling and writing, and I saw how often other players need a GM! It's been so fulfilling and fun to help fill that gap.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Hiking, kayaking, or trying new places to eat.
How Sooch runs games
I run immersive, roleplay-forward, play-by-post games with a strong focus on characters and collaboration. I'm not a "gotcha" type of GM, so while there are natural consequences in-world, I'm not lying in wait with traps around every corner. Games progress with at least 1-2 posts from me every 24 hours. Please post at least once per day.

I once ran a session...
Impromptu at a hotel breakfast!
Rules are...
Important as a framework for consistency, but flexible as long as the group agrees. Also a good reference point when questions arise.
Sooch's ideal table
My tables are safe inclusive spaces where mature communication thrives. Overall, my goal is to create a game that feels immersive, character-driven, and shared, where players can invest in the world and each other. Every campaign will include a discussion about player lines and veils to establish game boundaries before we begin. Gameplay is asynchronous, so post whenever you're available! I do ask that you post at least once every 24 hours so we don't get stuck.

I love it when a player
Isn't afraid to explore and interact with the world, whether it's the bookshelf, the NPCs, or a local festival.
