About Sennith

Hello everyone! I hope you have a cozy warm stay at my table. I’ve been playing D&D for 28 years, I’ve started off playing it with my brother and I, and now it has evolved all the way to this. I’m currently playing two games a week, one in real life and one online over Foundry. I’ve taught many new players over the years, and I had tables with new and experienced players at the same time, often people I’ve met from work with players I’ve known for years. I'm excellent at explaining the rules and keeping the game going. Brewing tales is my passion, and I take pride in bringing the player’s story into the grand narrative. I like to take published adventures and fill them with choices and dilemmas, usually personal to the characters. I love being a Dungeon Master because I want to see where the narrative goes and see what choices you make. My table is LQBTQ+ inclusive.

How Sennith runs games

I've love roleplay, and swift tactical combat. I love using images and props to help explain the narrative. I've have often played the same published adventure with multiple groups of varying experienced players. I'm comfortable at adjusting for who is at the table. Less roleplay and more dungeon delving? Got it! Want to build store and run it with the party? Sure! I really want to have fun, and I try my absolute best to remove barriers that prevent it.

I tend to focus on the fun of the game and I will go rule of cool for pacing. But sometimes there are just rules conflicts, and if I can't decide, I'll ask the table to vote.

I once ran a session...

Where the players were looking for a cow but a player joking said, "Maybe it's not a cow, maybe it's a giant badger. It's black and white after all." I secretly swapped out the cow for a giant badger. We bring it up and laugh about it all the time!

When it comes to voices

I'm not a voice actor, and I can't really do females voices. But I do naturally do voices as I roleplay characters.

Sennith's ideal table

I want people to relax have fun, especially after a hard day of work. People being themselves and letting people roleplay at whatever skill level. I love it when players help each other out, either rules or roleplay, and think of ideas and stories between each other's characters.
