About Reha

I have been running D&D games since 2005 on-and-off, reading fantasy literature as a hobby, watching the Lord of the Rings annually, and introducing new players to table-top games everywhere I go. Telling stories has always been my favourite activity among friends and family, so role playing seems to be the next evolutionary step. Studied computer science in college, working as a tourism agent currently.

I became a GM because

I told my GM that I could write a scenario if he wants to play. Didn't know it was a trap! :D

My favorite shows/movies are

Fleabag, Bojack Horseman, Avatar the Last Airbender, not in any order. Also some Turkish shows and movies: Behzat Ç., gibi, Hacivat Karagöz Neden Öldürüldü?, Sarmaşık.

How Reha runs games

I enjoy storytelling aspect the most. Crunchy rules and optimised characters are part of the fun, and if you can mechanically support your roleplay, you'll "win the game" if you ask me. Political intrigue and family drama are two of my favourite topics in a game, be it high fantasy or modern urban setting. If we can balance seriousness with sillyness, that would be amazing.

Featured Prompts

My games focus on...

characters. Their backstories, their goals, their fears; they are the protagonists of my games.

Rules are...

there for a reason. Rule of Cool is always nice to have, but half of the fun is finding ways through limitations and overcoming obstacles.

Reha's ideal table

I like to have players that are serious enough to respect the game, and silly enough to have fun, make jokes both under and above the table. Making "joke" characters is fine, as long as you don't interrupt any players or the flow of game; and if you can mechanically support your joke character, all the best.

Featured Prompts

I love it when a player

creates something in my world by adding an NPC, describing some place we never went, telling stories about past events. My players are welcome to build the story with me, they already put their characters in it, why stop there!

I think min/maxing...

is boring if you're the only one doing it. A table full of min/maxers is fine, and if nobody is trying hard, I won't try hard either.
