About QueenOfDreamsAndShadows
I am someone who loves to tell stories. Be that writing, acting, or through TTRPG's. I love GMing as that lets me help to shape a story. No amount of planning will ever prove perfect for any session, and that's what makes it amazing. Players will always have the opportunity to mess up whatever carefully laid plans I have, and that means that I get to improvise and help build a story around that for them. I have been GMing for about 7 years and in that time I have had many an adventure and told many a story. I enjoy many different systems like the Cosmere TTRPG for it's relationship to one of my favorite authors, and Thirsty Sword Lesbians for it's complex relationship setting. I love to watch my player succeed in doing something that was once thought impossible, and even though I'll gripe at you, it's all in good fun because the truth is, I'm not the here here. It's your turn to be the hero in my games, let me show you what that feels like.

My favorite books are
I am a lover of all of Brandon Sanderson's Cosmere work, with a special love for Stormlight. However, the books that have impacted my life the most are Rick Riordan's modern mythology books. I have a deep love for Percy, Magnus, and all the other hero's that I've watched the journey's of.
My favorite system of all Time is
Thirsty Sword Lesbians. That's it. That's my favorite system. I love how it flows, and how the challenges are laid out. How it prioritizes relationships both platonic and romantic- and makes those the major tension of every session.
How QueenOfDreamsAndShadows runs games
I want you to be the hero's. While that is never without it's challenges both out of game for me and in game for you, my goal at the end of the day is to see my players win. I craft intricate roleplay and combat scenarios where failure still moves everything forwards in one way or another. Even if it's not the way that you wanted it to be moved. The Barbarian might have less of a chance at winning a social scenario than a bard, but if it's the barbarians time to shine they will have just as much fun. I try to focus on character, even if it is something premade, so that my players feel the weight of the decisions they are making. When in combat, I make sure that the enemies react with smart moves that challenge but do not fully impede my players abilitie to take action. Every player will have their hero moment, and each one will feel earned. Players first. Always.

I once ran a session...
With an PC Awakened Cat Monk. The party was fighting a storm giant, and said storm giant threw the monk at another PC who was also a monk. The cat used slow fall, and the other monk deflect missile. This resulted in 66 damage becoming about 20. It was a wonderful time.
QueenOfDreamsAndShadows's ideal table
My table style is inclusivity. I will not tolerate any form of bigotry, transphobia, or homophobia. My players safety and comfort is paramount, and if it is threatened I will not hesitate to remove the player that is causing the problem. I know the personal impacts of bad GMing, and I strive to make sure that everyone at my table is as comfortable as possible at all times. I do not believe in shock value. If I put something disturbing in my games it has a reason, and everyone has agreed to seeing something like it inside the game. Players that would fit well at my table are: Those with an adventurous spirit, those who want a safe space to play, those who want to be accepted. The only views I will ever turn away are those that demonize another.
