About Profesor Haltr
For me TTRPGs are a path towards the creation of characters and worlds that we can immerse ourselves in, learn new ways to interact and have fun and with each other! I am a seasoned TTRPG player for 8+ years, only reason I never GMed was because of a single reason "Rules as Written". I was told this idea that the DM should always have the world all on their own and use the book as a fixed guide for encounters and roleplay. Now that I know "Rule of Cool" exists, my approach to TTRPGs has completely changed and I can now enjoy all the years of learning the games and the new systems that allow more freedom and roleplay. As a Pychologist I believe in creating safe spaces for people at the table at all times, no matter the theme or stakes of a game. As a teacher it is my duty to continue learning and teaching whenever I can, so I love the approach to new game systems and "Learn and Play" templates When it comes to safety expect special attention to "Session 0" and a homebrew addition called "Continuos boundaries at the table".

How Profesor Haltr runs games
I love roleplay, as a theater kid myself and with out-going characters in my home games, I love bold acting and roleplaying choices, my rule in character creation is "anything can be run, as long as the character is consistent". Expect out of the box One-shots and Mini-campaigns, if there is a cool theme to follow and play through, this is the kind of table to experiment in! I bend the rules (sorry) to include hard-hitting story beats and will strive to do emotional damage to your characters if it makes a great story. However, I always think of the player first, and their character second when it comes to emotional beats, plus I am always willing to take time aside to close a wound that a character story might have accidentally opened (in their player). Lastly its important to note my tables have 0 tolerance to intolerance and I strive to make it an inclusive experience for whoever wants to join (unless it counteracts the 0 tolerance rule).
Profesor Haltr's ideal table
Ideally, players that bring their own unique, bold choices in character creation and help build the narrative and world. Players who don't mind getting "homework" after the session to keep on building the world and their character
