Hi, I’m Stu! I started playing tabletop RPGs back in the 80s with AD&D, Star Frontiers, and Top Secret, and I was hooked from the first roll of the dice. From there it was Marvel and Champions, Pathfinder, Starfinder, and every flavor of D&D that’s come along since. No matter what else I was doing in life, I always came back to the table—because nothing compares to building a story together with friends. Over the years, I’ve poured myself into world-building, map-making, and character design. My pirate city setting, Black Brine, has become a sprawling playground of intrigue and adventure. Along the way I’ve also dabbled in just about every creative outlet I could find—producing music, designing tokens, building digital tools to make gameplay smoother, and even running a YouTube channel (CouchWarriorTV) where I shared immersive Skyrim stories for a decade. I’ve narrated an audiobook, produced original soundscapes, and spent countless hours shaping adventures that feel alive. How Stu King runs games

As a GM, I like to build original content—locations, items, NPCs, and storylines—that fit seamlessly into familiar settings like the Forgotten Realms. I put a lot of weight on character-driven stories where roleplay and choices matter, and I love to bring tools to the table - custom maps, puzzles, tools, and hand-crafted game assets to keep the world alive and responsive. For me, it’s about atmosphere, collaboration, and giving players a story they’ll still be talking about years later. I love to integrate the players into the world giving them agency and an opportunity to drive the narrative. Mine is not an open world but also, not a story on rails. I believe in a balance that allows breathing room for characters to explore the world and their own stories. I love diversity at the table. Diversity of thought, gender, race and orientation.
