About Plunk!

Hey there! I'm Amelia Plunk. I am a player-focused game master with three years of professional experience (even though I just joined SPG) who simply loves collaborative storytelling! I strive to make my table a safe and comfortable space for all, and specialize in introducing new players to D&D 5E. Outside of my D&D life, I'm a former HS science instructor and a forever teacher. I love to figure out what supports my players need in order for them to feel as comfortable and engaged as possible. I love teaching newbies how to play, and am quick to tell anyone who is nervous, "Don't worry about the rules, that's my job. Just tell me about the story you want to tell and I'll help you tell it." Players quickly relax at my table when they realize just how low the social stakes are — I try to make a fool of myself early and often to demonstrate that it's safe to be a fool at my table.
