Adam has been a great DM for a couple newbie players excited to explore a new hobby! He did a great job introducing us mid-campaign without any awkwardness, story-wise or mechanically. He does a great job checking in to make sure everyone is enjoying themselves, and is smoothly leading an increasingly large group through our adventure, complete with gorgeous maps and visual effects on foundry. Adam has done a fantastic job of taking brand new players under his wing and helping us grow into and enjoy the game! I've played with Adam both as a DM and a fellow player. His passion for D&D shines through regardless of the role he is playing. I have seen him DM experienced groups and a group of ADHD teenagers--many who had never played before. He can run combat driven games, role play driven games and games with a great balance of both. Similarly he runs very fun easygoing games, very professional and challenging games or a flexible mix. It all depends on his players. He also does a great job making sure newer or quieter players have time to shine and make their own decisions, rather than letting any one person run the group. He excels at meeting his players where they are at and ensuring that they all have fun. He actively solicits feedback from his groups to tailor his games to their needs.

Adam introduced me to D&D way back in the 90s, where he would hand-draw maps on those huge pads of graph paper. Now we're digital via a monitor built into the table, complete with music and sound for ambience. His adventures are well planned and challenging, with great mobs and loot and plenty of flexibility to explore. I recently had my level 8 monk take a level of barbarian, and while not the most tactically sound decision, Adam encouraged me to go with the right choice for my character and is very supportive in ironing out the mechanics of raging with mercy. It's a testament to Adam's ability that he can keep our crew of chuckleheads on task and having a blast every session. He is truly a master herder of cats.

Adam is a very skilled and experienced GM. He knows the rules of the game well, allows for players to be creative, and brings his games to life with voices and inspiring storytelling. Adam keeps his players engaged by ensuring that they all feel comfortable and supported. He is able to make the game fun and exciting for beginners and experienced players.
