About Nef
I've been telling stories since playing pretend with my sister in elementary school. Writing, roleplaying, acting, performing; I've done it all. I love watching new characters come to life and new players break ground. I've been running storytelling games since middle school, and only sometimes in D&D systems. I'm always looking for fresh ideas and new rules to try out. Bring me games that spark your imagination, and let's game it out together. My strongest friendships were forged while liberating oppressed goblins with my trans and nonbinary pals. All players are welcome at my table.

How Nef runs games
I am a sucker for high-stakes, dramatic roleplay. I tend to spark with players who have a strong vision and motivation built into their characters. If you're unsure, I can help you develop your ideas and make them shine. I see my role as akin to a road-trip navigator: I know which roads are coming up and where we'll go if you take them, but it's up to you to turn the wheel.

I prep by
listening to my players and building up my narrative toy box. Also, I roll all my dice to make sure their clack noises are satisfying.
My games focus on...
the characters, their relationships, and their choices.
When it comes to voices
I do my best, man. Playing with me is less like a professional drama and more like a campfire tale.
Nef's ideal table
The vibe dial is set to "open and relaxed". Have an idea? Shout it out. Need to rewind a scene? No worries, I'd rather get the storytelling right than speed through a plot. We're telling a story together, so I might ask more abstract questions like "What is your character feeling about this?" or "It seems like you're leaning toward this type of plot for your character, does it make sense for [scene idea] to happen next?"
