About Mr. Blue
Hello! I'm Mr. Blue. I've been running D&D 5e games off and on for over a year. I have a great passion for TTRPGs and would love to start running more games! I've been looking into a paid DM thing for a bit and people tell me i've got the talent for it. I've been told i over prepare sometimes, which could be a good or bad thing depending on perspective. I tend to favor rule of cool and love my more, silly characters. I love a good trickster and am partial to fey creatures. I'm not the *most* experience DM around but god damn am i passionate about it.

I got started GMing...
I got started GMing years ago when i was throwing around a silly idea for a quest that i thought about not doing, but i was pushed to ultimately go through with. It turned into a several session event of fey, stolen names, a carnival, and fabulous prizes. Everyone had fun and i've been GMing since.
How Mr. Blue runs games
I love to do roleplay. I have a lot of fun doing silly voices. I really enjoy silly characters, the fey, trickster archetypes. I love a good combat scenario as much as i do a social one. Throwing wicked monsters at the players and watching them come up with clever solutions is always fun. I'm really inclined to let rule of cool slide, or if a player can justify a roll that normally wouldn't work, I'm usually cool with it. I'm not 100% familiar with the rules i'll be honest, but i'm *really* enthusiastic about D&D. I've been running games off and on in a westmarches game for over a year, and i've recently started a full campaign with a bunch of friends a few months ago.

Rules are important, but fun is paramount. If something seems more fun or cool, I am more likely to go with it over what is actually in the rules.

When it comes to voices, I love doing voices for my characters. I practice doing random voices all the time.

General vibe is... Well I'm just here to help people have fun in the silly math rock game. I am a facilitator of the collaborative story that is a TTRPG. I aim for fun, with a little bit of drama here and there. Players that are here to relax and have fun would fit well.

I love it when a player comes up with a dumb or silly plan / idea that ultimately seems like it might actually work. Clever plans that bypass what i've got planned are also entertaining.
My table is not the place for...
I don't tolerate bigotry, racism, transphobia, etc. TTRPGs are an inclusive place for people to have fun, and if you're here to start problems or the like, don't bother.
