About Evan
As what I'm sure is quite the familiar story by now, I first starting playing D&D5e during the Covid-19 pandemic. At first, it was something that a few of my friends and I did to stay connected and pass the time, but it soon blossomed into a full-grown passion for me. Not long after that game ended, I found StartPlaying, and found an easy way to find games to play in and people to play with. Having played as a player for most of my time, I want to grow as a DM, so hopefully I can help other people looking to play find their outlet.

How Evan runs games
As the GM, I'm your biggest cheerleader. My job is to set the stage for your character to shine, whether that be through unforgettable roleplaying scenes or through intense, meaningful combat. I believe the best games are where narrative and game mechanics come together to let a player's character shine. You can expect immersive worlds, memorable NPCs, and challenging encounters that give your character the chance to grow, struggle, and triumph. My style is always player-focused, so I'll work with you to shape the kind of story you want to tell, and I’ll tailor the tone, pacing, and drama to fit the journey we’re building together.
Evan's ideal table
My ideal table is one where the players are equally excited for roleplaying as they are for playing the game. My main priority is for all of my players to enjoy themselves and have a good time. I welcome all, whether they be introverted or extroverted. Just don't be a jerk or play at the expense of another player.
