Morkall is an amazing story teller. He is an expert in his craft, weaving interesting and fleshed out npcs with incredible descriptions of the environment that left me wanting more. Morkall was able to masterfully incorporate 3rd party mechanics and disparate character backstories that made me feel like I really got to know the characters of my fellow players, despite playing in a oneshot. Morkall's atmospheric visuals maintained an immersive environment even during player discussions and npc interactions. I cannot wait to play with Morkall as my GM again!!

Rarely do you find a GM who can both craft compelling campaign arcs full of twists, memorable NPCs and emotional payoff, and has the improv chops to support their players' wackiest ideas. Michael is that GM. Combat was never a slog, but full of creative challenges, additional objectives, and high stakes. I've played 7th Sea, 5E, and a whole slew of Indie one-shots with Michael, and every time we had a blast.

Michael is not only a fantastic storyteller and world builder, but he also has a tremendous sense of creativity and play. He is perfect for rookie adventurers who aren't sure how to begin. Not only that, he is also perfect for seasoned adventurers who want to want a playground to express their creativity with a GM who is incredibly willing to play! All around the finest GM I've ever had the pleasure of adventuring alongside.

Michael goes the extra mile and turns game night into a gaming EXPERIENCE! Music, voices, and a well curated vibe. He creates a safe environment for beginners. Felt like no question was too stupid and no idea was too farfeteched. Also tutorialized a couple new game systems for me, and I’d say his patience and enthusiasm for crafting a good player experience took the intimidation out of the task of learning new game mechanics. And above all: I had fun! Which Michael knows is the most important. Highly recommend him as a DM.
