About Ronnie
Hey everbody! My name is Ronnie and I've been a huge nerd all my life and I say that with absolute love for the word. I started playing D&D in high school, took a short hiatus then came back in to the world with a bang. I started GMing around ten years ago when I found that I (as well as others) weren't really welcome at the only table at our local game shop. So, I took it upon myself to ask if the shop owner wanted more GMs and she said yes! So...my journey started there and I have fallen completely in love with GMing. Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, co-operative story telling, watching others discover their characters...there's nothing like it. So...what can you expect from me? I aim to provide a relaxed, welcoming environment where everyone can play and have fun. I encourage role play and creativity. I'm also beginner friendly (I teach adults and kids alike how to play on Saturdays at my LGS). My games include D&D 5e, Castles & Crusades, Call of Cthulhu 7e, Deadlands, Kids on Bikes, Vampire the Masquerade, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Fallout, Walking Dead, Alien, Vaesen….pretty much anything!

I got started GMing...
I got started as a GM because I wanted to play again but was turned away from a table. I decided there I was going to learn and welcome everyone at my table and quickly fell in love with it.
My 3 systems I'd bring to a desert island would be
Dungeons & Dragons 5E, Call of Cthulhu and Daggerheart. This is really a revolving door, though. I love them all.
People are always surprised when I tell them
People are surprised when I tell them I run as many systems as I do. I love them all and it’s hard to choose. Variety is the spice of life, though! I think I’m up to 15-20 games/systems.
How Ronnie runs games
I'm rule of cool for the most part. I love role play and encourage it. I give voices my best go but I'm not great. I enjoy a good round of combat as well.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
If my games were movies? Oh wow. It depends on the game. Anywhere from Kevin Smith to Peter Jackson.
I once ran a session...
I once ran a session with 20 players. It was the smoothest session I’ve ever ran, though. It was a great experience.
Rules are...
1. Have fun. 2. Respect at the table. For other players and the GM. Disrespect is not tolerated. 3. Get involved. I’m not forcing you, but it makes for a better experience. Ask questions, think out of the box, work with the other players…
Ronnie's ideal table
My ideal table? One where everyone has a great time and tells a great story.
