About me

My name is David, I am a 38y/o long term D&D player (2nd ed to present) and White-wolf gamer. For many years I was the "Forever DM" and enjoyed the experience of crafting many campaigns that allowed for many years of joyous gaming. During COVID, I began delving into VTT (Foundry/Roll20) and found players who played through my whimsical homebrew campaigns, as well as D&D 5e modules. I have a large collection of Roll20 content in my compendium and look forward to welcoming you into one of my Forgotten Realm stories. I am a married, pansexual, Caucasian cis male. I work as an activist, educator, massage therapist, and an online dungeon master. Games are 18+ but I welcome all interested parties, LGBTQIA+ friendly, and promise my games will avoid subjecting its players to experiences that would ever leave them with a bad taste in their mouth. GM Style

I think my job as your DM is to give you environment and personality that helps in immersing you into a collaborative storytelling experience. Tons of words! I know that sounds silly up front, but that means I like to give you scene setup, recaps, narrative overviews, and of course dialog. Combat is super important, but so is the reason you are having one. If your group is a bunch of lovers, then why would I try to force them to be a bunch of fighters? I don't have some list of feats or racial hang ups that make me want to ban things or warn you they upset me in some way. I have met many DMs who do, I'm not here to stifle your creative juices - I want to make them boil. Give me character background? It 100% will be integrated into the story until at some point everyone is looking to be sure theirs is too. If you don't give me one, I will handle the rest for you while getting consent before anything I try to take liberty with to your character. I trained in Ving Tsun (Chinese martial art, pronounced Wing Chun) for 19 years and have endless respect for different cultures and arts. Combat Matters. Story Matters. Roleplay Matters.
