About Lore
I am a 29-year-old individual of unspecified gender who is comfortable with all pronouns. I have a lifelong passion for creating experiences and storytelling. When I began playing Dungeons and Dragons seriously nine years ago, it felt like a perfect fit. I genuinely enjoy the process of creating, modifying, and writing—whether it involves designing maps, developing complex characters, or planning engaging and challenging encounters. However, the greatest reward comes from seeing how players engage with and respond to my creations. I find joy in fostering excitement and am always delighted by the creativity and surprises that players bring to the game. In summary, I am very passionate about being a Dungeon Master, and my primary goal is to ensure all players have FUN!

I got started GMing...
Nine years ago! Me and my friends wanted to get started playing TTRPGs but were all totally new to it and didn't have resource books. We didn't think to read up online due to being too excited, so we set up some folders like a DM screen and I start making stuff up!
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Cooperative, engaging, and creative!
When I'm not running games I'm...
Watching anime, listening to podcasts, voice training for voice over and singing, and hyper fixating on things like lore, history, and monster ecology!
How Lore runs games
I am a Dungeon Master who appreciates and often favors a relaxed, rule-of-cool style of gameplay, while also maintaining a strong foundation of lore and world-building. I believe that enabling players to create their own enjoyment is much more feasible and imaginative when the core rules of the world remain consistent and do not need to be altered to accommodate their ideas. I am passionate about designing experiences tailored to my players’ preferences, whether that involves complex, tactical combat encounters or immersive storytelling with character development, political intrigue, and impactful moments. With nine years of experience running games for both small and large groups, I am confident in my ability to strike a balanced and engaging experience that caters to diverse interests. I plan to initiate each game by interviewing my players to understand their preferences and tailor the experience accordingly. My specialties and passions include horror, survival, and challenging combat encounters. However, I am also more than happy to create a relaxed, high-spirited, and lighthearted adventure for those who prefer a different tone. I appreciate every aspect of tabletop role-playing I am currently in the process of learning the systems Pathfinder 2e, Dark Heresy, and Savage Worlds, as well as developing my own game system. This effort is driven by my goal to accommodate a wider range of players, offer more diverse experiences, and expand my skills as a game master.

If my games were Movies they'd be directed by...
Taika Waititi! Effective, epic, and fun!
I once ran a session...
Where the party had cried, laughed, and cheered all in one night. Developing a conspiracy plotline as well as sensitive backstory beats in the middle of a multi-phase high impact boss fight.
Rules are...
Important for maintaining a consistent world and sense of stakes, but meant to be bent! Marneus Calgar once said, "Rules should never make a prisoner of intelligence." and they likewise should never make a prisoner of fun!
Lore's ideal table
I would like our table to be a space where everyone feels comfortable asking to do things, and where players are respectful of each other and the tone of the campaign during major story developments. I hope for us to have fun together, sharing laughter and excitement. At the same time, I think it's important that we treat the stories the players create with respect.

I love it when a player
Uses niche items or abilities in creative ways! I love when a player considers their entire tool box for problem solving, particularly out of combat when a lot of folks aren't actively examining their character sheets. I love being surprised!
I think min/maxing...
Perfectly okay as long as the other players are comfortable with it, or even doing the same thing. Powerful builds are fun! Just avoid metagaming and be ready for me to make you work for that niche magic item. I'll always do my best to challenge you! Just don't make a me vs you thing.
