About me

Hi there, I'm André (on-DRAY). Are you ready to have some fun co-creating a fantastic story? My journey in TTRPG's started while trying to find ways to hang out with friends during the lockdown. Since then, it's turned into a full-blown passion for collaborative storytelling games. Originally, I became a GM to keep my table playing together. Now, I'm a "forever GM" who loves facilitating fun and memorable gameplay. My background is in Psychology, marketing, and business management. As a kid, I was in theatre and thus enjoy roleplaying NPC's with silly voices or quirks. When I'm not writing campaigns, I enjoy hiking and camping with my husband, our dog, and sometimes our cat. My neurodivergent brain also loves puns, science, and technology. You'll love playing at my table if you are open-minded, collaborative, and a team player. So come and join me on an epic adventure!

GM Style

As a GM, I am big on player agency, improv, and "playing to find out." Collaboration builds the best stories, in my opinion. I find great joy in the surprise twists my players add to the story. As such, the Rule of Cool sometimes takes precedence over Rules As Written to co-create epic moments with players. There tends to be a fair amount of combat in my games, and they can be deadly. Most combats use battle maps on our VTT for tactical play, though some fights and interactions are easier to resolve with Theatre of the Mind. I love to roleplay and enjoy when players can avoid a fight through clever roleplay and lucky dice rolls. Dice rolling is a big part of my games, as I love how they add to the drama of the story. Since my players are a team, I make sure everyone is getting along OOC and discuss play styles at the table to improve IC play. I use ambient music during play and enjoy coming up with unique characters and situations for my players.
