About Stephan LeDnDesma

About Me Hey there! I’m Stephan Ledesma, your Forever DM,with over six years of tabletop experience. You might know me as BoneDaddy, a nickname my players bestowed during my three-year, level 1–14 pirate epic, The BoneYard. For the past two years, I’ve been running Sorrows of Telvar, a homebrew saga so deep I’m even writing a full module book for it. I build rich, living worlds and let your choices steer the narrative. Whether we’re hunting lost treasure or unraveling haunted mysteries, I’m here to craft a story that feels uniquely yours. My style balances serious, morally gray themes with well-timed comedy because, even in the darkest dungeons, someone’s bound to trip over a skeleton and trigger the trap early. I believe in player autonomy above all. Every session starts with an idea, and with your actions, that idea blossoms into an epic tale. I’m a homebrew fanatic who also weaves in published content when it serves the story. New player or veteran adventurer, my door is always open for feedback and safety checks. Let’s co-create something unforgettable!

My favorite books are

Darren Shan's Demonata series. My ADD makes it hard to read certain books. So young adult fiction is what floats my boat. The Demonata series is just a fantastic gothic horror series in the UK.

My favorite shows/movies are

Community - the sheer ridiculousness of storytelling from Dan Harmon is fantastic and his ability to somehow bring it all back to normality is the true genius of the show. Inception, Tropic Thunder, Inglorious Basterds, Grand Budapest Hotel. Breaking Bad - Vanilla but it simply is the GOAT.

When I'm not running games I'm...

...usually writing them. Whether it's fleshing out new lore for my homebrew world Sorrows of Telvar, sketching out encounters or turning chaos from last session into meaningful story arcs, I'm almost always deep in the world-building

How Stephan LeDnDesma runs games

Player-Driven Adventure I set up a lore-heavy sandbox, then follow your lead. Chase a rumor or investigate a strange ruin? I’ll improvise side-quests born from your curiosity. Cinematic, “Rule of Cool” Combat When you nail an awesome move, I spotlight it. No bogged-down rule arguments, if it sounds epic, it happens. Dark Themes & Comedy Beats Long campaigns explore serious, morally gray stories, but real life is hilarious too. Expect laughs, even in the dankest dungeon. Structured Yet Open Key encounters and dungeons are mapped out for smooth flow, but city streets and tavern banter are yours to shape. You’ll never be railroaded. Homebrew Heart, Module Muscle My world is custom-built, with optional splices of published adventures like Icewind Dale to elevate the plot. Inclusive, Open-Door Table Clear safety tools and ground rules at session zero. I’m always available to chat mechanics, world-building, or wild ideas. If you want a table where your bold choices matter, combat feels straight out of an action film, and the world reacts to you, roll initiative, adventure awaits!

My games focus on...

focus on immersive, player-driven storytelling, rich lore, and cinematic combat. Choices matter, actions shape the world, and even the darkest tales have room for humor. I bring the structure, you bring the chaos, heart, and story. Let’s make something epic together.

When it comes to voices

I do every range imaginable. I will spend weeks practicing voices to get them right for the session. But i will always ask if any accents or tropes are a no go at the table. I do not aim to poke fun at the stereotype of the voice, but instead to respect the origin and root of the voice.

Stephan LeDnDesma's ideal table

My table’s all about collaboration, respect, and fun. New or veteran, if you love story, character moments, and being part of something bigger, you’ll fit right in. We joke, we scheme, we roll with what happens, and everyone has space to shine.

I think min/maxing...

Understandable. Everyone wants to be strong. But this is an RPG, and I encourage flavor first. If your idea fits the story and feels right, trust that I’ll naturally find ways to make it powerful. Cool concepts will shine because they work, not just because of stats.
