Hello, I’m Katsyne! 😽₊˚ʚ I’ve watched and played more hours of TTRPGs than the total runtime of One Piece, which probably says a lot. 😂 I'm both a Game Master and player, and I care a lot about creating sessions and characters that feel alive! ☀️ I was introduced to TTRPGs through Ordem Paranormal, a Brazilian actual-play series I’ve followed and watched religiously live since its very first episode 5 years ago! 😄 As a theater lover and Cosplayer who loves pretending to be a character, it immediately felt like the perfect hobby for me. After spending some time both playing and watching TTRPGs, I created my own homebrew story in that same system to play along my friends. Since I was a content creator (although I worked as a Cosplayer, unrelated to RPGs), I decided It would be a livestreamed series for my audience! I quickly fell in love with GMing. Today, I run weekly campaigns with friends and host one-shots to introduce new players to this hobby! That's exactly what I plan to do here aswell on StartPlaying.com! 😊

How Katsyne runs games
My games lean heavily into Roleplay and character moments. I absolutely love plot twists, mysteries, and puzzles that reward paying attention to the details and getting involved in the story! 💫 I prefer Combat when it's immersive and interactive. More than just "I cast this, end turn". Creative actions and teamwork matter more than just rolling to hit, which means if something cool makes the moment better, I’m a HUGE believer in the Rule of Cool! 😎 Environments, positioning, and clever ideas will make or break my encounters, and will also involve objectives beyond simply defeating enemies. I love doing voices, building memorable NPCs, crafting documents (I've even created my own Templates for this) and dropping plot twists that will HIT HARD! I’m a bit of a perfectionist, so I pour my heart into every session. My goal is for you to feel part of the story, through actions and consequences. On my games, players’ backstories MATTER and will shape the world around them, so I can't wait to listen to their creative and awesome ideas! Personal goals can evolve into story arcs and your choices can leave lasting marks on the world. New players are always welcome, I’m more than happy to guide them. We’re all playing, we’re all making mistakes, and that’s also part of the fun! 💞 So, expect meaningful choices, emotional moments, and a respectful, inclusive table where everyone can feel safe to play. 🌈

My table is Immersive, Story-heavy and the right amount of Chaotic. I LOVE players who pay attention, care about their characters, make their own notes and aren’t afraid to lean into emotional or dramatic moments! 🌟 The vibe is supportive, collaborative, and respectful. We can laugh and joke, but when it’s time for tension or big decisions there’s nothing I love more than seeing the players LOCK IN! Whether it’s for a BBEG combat or a heartfelt character speech that leaves the whole table silent. 🤩 New players are always welcome! You don’t need to be a voice actor or rules expert at all. Just bring curiosity, respect, and a willingness to engage with the story and the Roleplay. And last but not least, kindness and inclusivity are non-negotiable. This is a safe table where everyone should feel comfortable participating. 😽
