About Jordyn
I have been playing TTRPGs for many years of my life, getting myself acquainted with many aspects of D&D and learning how to make the game fun for all kinds of players. I have been GM-ing in my friend group for around a year and always run sessions with the “rule of cool” in mind, setting myself up for plenty of improv in order for my players to have the most fun possible. I like to be encouraging, inclusive, and to provide a balance in all types of gaming sessions in order to provide variety. Creative writing is my passion, and I bring that to the table when creating story lines and adapting to whatever my players throw at me. In the end, the fun and creative process are what made me passionate about this game.

Featured Prompts
I became a GM because
I wanted an outlet to express my creativity while growing closer with my friends in a way that was fun for everyone.
The three words my players would use to describe me are...
Kind, Creative, and Fun.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Working on my novel, reading a variety of books, playing video games, spending time with friends, and taking care of my pets.
How Jordyn runs games
I love roleplay and doing different voices for NPCs. The more my players connect with their character, the more fun we can have! My combat style is generally challenging, but not impossible. There will be a mix of fun, silly roleplay and serious moments, depending on what the story calls for. I am open to changing things in the moment to accommodate what my players want and are comfortable with.
Featured Prompts
My favorite trope is...
a seeming helpful NPC betrays the party.
My games focus on...
roleplay, story progression, and character development. Combat will still be part of the games, but they will serve a purpose, not just combat for combat's sake.
When it comes to voices
I love to give my all when creating a character's unique sound. I strive to make all characters easy to tell apart based on how their voices are.
Jordyn's ideal table
My table is always run with the player's freedom of expression being one of the most important things! I want everyone to feel connected to their characters and be unafraid to try out wacky/unique things. I operate with the Rule of Cool in mind, feeling that the game's rules are there for a starting point, not to be strictly followed in a way that impedes the story or a player's fun. My table strives to be inclusive and welcoming to all types of players!
Featured Prompts
I love it when a player
feels connected to their character, going as far as to roleplay with other players and give their character a unique voice.
I think metagaming...
can be useful when it comes to collaborating with other players, but players should still keep in mind what their characters actually know and act accordingly.
My table is not the place for...
putting others down for how they want to play their character and general negativity about the game.
