About Jack of Dice

Gather round the campfire. Let's tell some stories. I'm Jack, and I run light-hearted games where we spin an awesome yarn with the fickle help of the dice. I started GMing for family a few years ago and caught the collaborative storytelling bug. I believe TTRPGs are for everyone and love running fun and accessible games for people of all ages. As a creative writer (MA, BA) with some published short fiction and poetry, I'm itching to meet your characters and weave their backstories into the adventure. I also love using my amateur dramatics experience to bring NPCs to life! I have several years experience adapting / writing and running roleplaying games for new and returning players, including neurodiverse players and younger players. How Jack of Dice runs games

I'm a story and roleplay-focussed GM! Though the rules are always there to give the game consistency and structure, I enact the 'rule of cool' for exciting story and character moments. I love hearing your ideas for characters and can't wait to get them involved in the story. Although interesting combat encounters are an important part of my games, deep tactical fights aren't my focus.

I love players who aren't afraid to throw themselves in and have fun with a cool character idea or to make a pre-generated hero their own. My tables are relaxed spaces where everyone is welcome and nobody takes things too seriously. Players who jump into the fun and throw awesome curveballs into the mix are my jam!
