About Gustavo Staedele Krutzsch
Hi, Im Gustavo, but most people call me Gus or Krut. I'm from Brazil, and I've been playing tabletop games for about 10+ years now. I've explored everything from Catan, Zumbicide, up to Coup and Saboteur, Magic the Gathering and many others. Beyond card and tabletop games I've enjoyed PC games all my life, from Runescape to League of Legends to World of Warcraft. Since 2017 I started playing TTRPGs, knowing the world of Dungeons and Dragons with my local friends and I haven't stopped since. In 2025 I began DMing one-shots and I'm really liking it. I've always enjoyed reading stories and now I've discover how much I love telling them - especially with the collaboration of my players.

I got started GMing...
because I love reading good fantasy stories, and also I love telling them to other people. GMing brings these two thing together, with the extra benefit of people participating in the story and having fun.
My favorite books are
The fantasy ones are Game of thrones, The Name of the wind, Mistborn, The Stormlight Archive.
When I'm not running games I'm...
playing online games solo or with friends. My favorite games are Runescape 3, World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, Baldurs Gate, League of Legends. Reading - mostly fantasy books, but not only those - or doing outdoor activities like hiking, camping etc

I deal with rules issues by...
Listening to others point of view, try to weight both sides and quickly make a fair ruling so the game keeps going. Then I tell the players that I'll revisit the rule after the session and try to align better going forward. My priority is to hear the players and adapt/update my ruling.
My games focus on...
A good amount of roleplaying and character development, I pay a lot of attetion to each player's characters and try to explore it during the campaing, always trying to create unique moments for the characters to shine. Also I love when players can optimize combat tactics so I leave room for that.
Rules are...
To guide the game in the most fun and fair way for everyone. Rules are a solid baseline so everybody has a good idea on what to expect from the game. This avoids unexpected mechanics that can break immersion or cause frustration.
