About me
Hello! My name is Diamond Welch, and I'm excited to give this whole professional Game Master thing a good college try! This isn’t my first time being a Game Master or storyteller. I usually run superhero tabletop role-playing games (TTRPGs), World of Darkness games, Dungeons & Dragons, and various other TTRPGs. I also serve as a storyteller for two LARP events that I organize, so I have plenty of experience! I value drama, intrigue, and, most importantly, some good old action and improvisation! I hope that when I have a game ready to run, you all will give it a shot! However, there are certain behaviors I simply won’t tolerate at my table. I will not accept bigotry of any kind, hate speech, or anything that makes me or the players feel uncomfortable. I want my table to be a safe space for everyone, regardless of gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or background. I am also available to run solo sessions or one-shots for those who apply and choose to book me! Just send me a DM to arrange your booking for these sessions!

I embrace a "Yes, and" approach, aiming to balance player enjoyment with the understanding that there can be consequences for failure; however, the potential rewards make it worth the risk! I enjoy incorporating action, drama, and intrigue into my games, and I strive to provide vivid descriptions of scenes while encouraging players to delve deep into their characters and explore their depths. I also aim to create a safe space at my table, ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and invited. Ultimately, I see myself as a showman, committed to putting on the greatest show so everyone can have a memorable experience!

Diamond creates a diverse and lore rich world for his players. While it is uniquely his world made, he calls back to a lot of elements of the universe his games are based in. He finds creative ways to keep everyone engaged and ensure the diversity of a party gets pulled together and will still function. He makes combat challenging and engaging, keeping you on your toes. Most importantly: He is a super great communicator. I joined late and had so many questions to ask and he helped support me the entire way. Never once did I feel like I was annoying or bothering him. And his response time to me, when I am two hours outside his time zone, was wildly impressive.

The best of the best. This Storyteller seamlessly ties canonical events, character goals, emotional punching scenes and action all i to one smooth and fun experience. I have been playing Table Top RPGs and LARPS for many years now, and played under many different Storytellers. I can confidently say Diamond is one of the best I have had the pleasure of playing under. He remembers the main goal of these games, which is to have fun with your friends. He also perfectly represents the mood and theme of cyberpunk during game play and his timing for story beats is great! Overall, I would highly recommend Diamond to players to play his games.
