About Fabled
Hi! I'm a lifelong storyteller with 20+ years of experience as a creative. My adventures so far have taken me through the worlds of theater, improv, fiction writing, and daydreaming. Now I have turned my hand to worldbuilding for TTRPGs. I always strive to make sure your PCs are at the heart of the story - so if you are a player that loves a character with a heavy backstory bring it on! Whether you are new to TTRPGs or a more seasoned dice-slinger, I hope we can create a laid-back and welcoming space where your characters can navigate "real world" dangers in an imaginary world together and have a blast doing it. So let’s tell some stories together!

How Fabled runs games
I most frequently run Daggerheart as my game system because it feels like it matches my GM style the best. My games tend to be atmosphere and character-driven. I like to build the story around the players and let that drive natural plot hooks. Before we start playing I will spend some time with the group either in discord chat or before the session to develop backstories and/or existing relationships with other PCs to ensure you can have meaningful relationships from the first moment of the game. I want your characters to matter in the world we create together. For one shots this may only take a few minutes but if you have a reoccurring character you want to play we will likely spend more time building out those details. For those that want one, I can provide a variety of interesting pre-gens that have built in relationships for easy play! Tone-wise, I love immersive storytelling, atmospheric worldbuilding, and downtime scenes that let the group relax and bond, whether it’s sharing a meal, shopping, or just decompressing after a fight. When combat happens, I plan for it to be challenging and cinematic but not punishing. I want you to feel like it was a fight. I usually run with “Rule of Cool”. If it makes sense and feels rewarding, I’m in. I also value table consensus so we’ll have occasional above-the-table check-ins to make rulings that serve the spirit of the game and keep things fun for everyone. Open communication and collaborative play are essential at my table.
