Hi, I'm Emi! I'm a queer, trans DM who loves running games full of fun and whimsy, and creating spaces for players to have safe and exciting emotional experiences. I love DMing for players who want to be heroes; I love to present problems that can be solved with the power of friendship and doing your best; and I'm not interested in making anyone count their arrows or repair their boots. I also enjoy adapting tropes and archetypes, and seeing how players interact with them in unexpected ways. I'd describe my games as having "fairy tale energy."

GM Style

I love running roleplay-heavy, collaborative games. The more excited you are to develop your character, the more excited I am to put them in interesting situations! Silly voices and character-appropriate outfits not required, but very welcome. My games incorporate visual aids, music, and soundscapes to immerse everyone in the experience. I enjoy challenging, interesting combat that also incorporates some roleplay. I'm not super interested in lethality, and am happy to run games without permanent PC death—adventuring is dangerous, but I like PCs having time to grow and bond with the party. I DM from my own perspective, which includes a commitment to accessibility and disability justice, and to creating safe tables for marginalized people. Ableism, racism, queerphobia, transphobia, misogyny, etc. will not be tolerated at my tables. "AI" "art" also not welcome. In general, you can expect lighthearted, high-magic heroic adventure with milestone leveling.
