I've been a DM (D&D 5e) for over 5 years, including a multi-year campaign, short side campaigns, and one-shots. I've managed homebrew settings and official modules. For my StartPlaying games, I stick almost exclusively to official 2024+ Wizards of the Coast rules, revamping older modules for the 2024 game. I will provide access to the materials players will need to create their characters in D&D Beyond. I'll use Discord for voice and pre-game coordination, and I'll use either D&D Maps or Roll20 with the Beyond20 extension to play the game. My games will generally be a PG-13 game, where non-graphic horror and light vulgar language could be expected.

Players will fit well at my table if they respect the game's rules while using them and their PC's abilities in creative ways to solve narrative dilemmas. I encourage players to roleplay their PC's abilities in ways that fit both the rules of the game and the personalities of their PCs. I encourage the mantra, "flavor is free".
