About DC

I'm a producer of TTRPG Actual Plays, and a DM for 7 years. There'll be tales of hope, creatures that lurk in the dark, and sometimes a bit of whimsy. I run rules light and am all for cool player actions. The idea of getting together with people to tell grand stories has always spoken to me, so come on and let's create an amazing adventure together.

How DC runs games

I'm rules light and have NPC voices of dubious quality. I'll work with players to come up with solutions on how to accomplish something when the rules are a little puzzling. I run theater of the mind with a map or two. There'll be some dark tales, but always an option for a ray of hope. I use safety tools and will have a session zero for each game.

Getting my previous session notes organized in Obsidian, and then write the next session based on where the players take the story presented to them. I want to keep the story as fluid as possible.

My games focus on...

A multitude of things. Sometimes there's connections with nature/elements, hauntings, and dealing with a darkness. No matter how dark things get, there's always an option for hope.

DC's ideal table

My table vibe is generally relaxed and fun. I like coming up with a rules solution that works for the table in the moment, so a player can do a neat thing. Be on time, and let me know if you can't make the session; life happens. Using safety tools is important. Players that can share the spotlight and not talk over each other.
