About me
Hail and well met adventurers! My name is Craityr, and it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance! I have been playing dnd for about seven years. I've been a game master for about 3 years, running numerous one-shots and campaigns in that time. I'm more than happy to run games for players of all experience levels, and I am more than willing to help teach new players about the game. I recently decided to go back to school, so I am currently in process of obtaining a doctoral degree. This means I might be offering fewer campaigns than I have in the past, but I'm always open to running one-shots! If you've got a one-shot in mind, or if you want to play in a one-shot but don't have one in mind, then feel free to message me! I have a variety of one-shots available at a wide range of character levels! I've also started running Play-by-Post campaigns, so feel free to reach out if you're interested in a particular adventure! I love dungeons and dragons, and I can't wait to share that with players! All of my games are LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC friendly!
GM Style
I am a storyteller. I love to get down to the details when it comes to describing what is going on in-game, from the trinkets on an NPC's desk to the gritty aspects of combat. My descriptions of combat vary based on player age and preference, but default to a PG-13 rating unless otherwise stated. I also love to occasionally plant little magical effects on trinkets and objects that appear mundane (perhaps if you touch that stone carving of a tree on the bookshelf, you'll smell like fresh-cut grass for a week, who knows?). While I am detail-oriented, I enjoy both roleplay and combat, so feel free to wake up and choose violence (or peace) when playing in my sessions. When it comes to roleplay, many of my character voices may sound suspiciously similar, but I try my best to make them fun and engaging! I love having a visual aspect in my games, so I use a virtual tabletop to display maps and tokens throughout most of my sessions, even when players are just visiting the tavern.

Craityr is such a gem, very patient let's you goof off just enough but brings everything back on track. Very well versed in the rules, but also knows when it's appropriate to bend them. Seriously can recommend her enough!

Craityr is an awesome DM. First, I will say our group is FULL of personality and she manages us with aplomb and great patience. Secondly, her familiarity with the rules and game mechanics means there's always a way to allow us to do the shenanigans we keep coming up with. I would very strongly recommend her for new and experienced players, as a very new player myself it has been great!
