Curse of Strahd: The Devil's Behest - Sundays 🩸

Is it Wednesday yet? Wonderful DM and immersive storyteller. Well prepped sessions and a deep understanding of the world we find ourselves in. Combat is exciting and well-run. PC choices have consequence and creative choices have equally creative consequences.

Casey is hands down the best DM I've ever played with. They are an incredible storyteller, painting a picture along every turn, even thinking deeply into our characters' stories to make fun instances that play into our unique twists. They use a combination of words, inflection, and background music to truly immerse you in what you're doing making you feel like you can really see the world around you. And more than just immersing you into the scene, Casey has a masterful skill to make you think like your character, challenging you to expand your thoughts beyond the character sheet and dice and truly become your character in the moment. I look forward to every game!

This was my first time playing a level 10 character and my return to TTRPGs after a bit of a break, and I couldn't have asked for a better re-entry than with Casey at the helm. The session was incredibly well-prepared and thoughtfully paced, perfectly structured for a one-shot that still offered a satisfying narrative arc and a clear, rewarding conclusion. Casey’s energy remained high and engaging throughout the four-hour session, keeping us immersed and entertained. At no point did the game feel rushed or drag; everything flowed naturally, and the transitions between exploration, combat, and roleplay were seamless. The session felt safe with the other players and was a great creative space to take risks and enjoy the story together. If you’re looking for a polished, immersive, and high-energy one-shot or campaign experience, I highly recommend Casey. I’ll definitely be signing up for more games!

Casey is amazing. The world we were brought into is so alive that I was sucked in from the start. The NPC's were incredible. The combat was brutal, but fair. The collaboration between players and Casey was sublime. Playing DnD is about having fun, but sometimes you get the chance to genuinely make memories. That's what we got to do.

Completed a one shot with Casey. He quickly set the stage and got each player involved immediately. Casey did a great job introducing NPCs including great voice acting for each. He knows the rules very well. Great mix of role playing and fighting. Definitely would play with Casey as GM again.

Casey was a great GM and I would love to play again with them if I have time. Great story telling and environment, fun characters (I will miss Lugrod!), and well balanced combat. The did one of the Slaydium games, which was more combat focused, but he would be a great GM for a roleplaying game as well.
