About Drew
Hi, I’m Drew. I’m a lifelong storyteller and Game Master with years of experience running TTRPGs across a wide range of systems, from intense gothic horror in long-form campaigns to strange and scrappy one-shots in OSR settings. I love building immersive worlds, encouraging bold character choices, and creating sessions that feel like collaborative storytelling at its best. As a neurodivergent GM, I know how important it is to foster a table where everyone feels welcome, respected, and safe. I believe strongly in consent-based play, open communication, and creating a space where all players can have fun and engage with the game in a way that suits them. Whether you are a seasoned adventurer or brand new to the hobby, you are welcome at my table. I run sessions with a strong narrative foundation, plenty of room for improvisation, and a focus on player agency. If you are looking for a Game Master who listens, adapts, and genuinely cares about the story we build together, I’d love to be part of your next adventure. Let’s roll some dice and tell a story worth remembering.

I got started GMing...
I got started GMing because I’ve always loved worldbuilding and storytelling. The idea of creating rich, immersive settings and then watching players shape and explore them was immediately exciting to me. I believe collaborative storytelling can be a powerful and even therapeutic experience.
How Drew runs games
My games focus on story, character, and player-driven choices. I lean into the rule of cool whenever it makes sense for the story or heightens the moment. If a player has a bold idea, I want to find a way to say yes, not shut it down with technicalities. The rules are here to support the fun, not get in its way. I prioritize heavy roleplay and immersive storytelling. Dialogue, character moments, and emotional stakes are central to the experience at my table. I encourage players to bring their characters to life and shape the narrative through their decisions, relationships, and risks. Player freedom is at the heart of every session I run. I design open-ended scenarios with space for exploration, invention, and surprising solutions. Whether you’re negotiating with a vampire lord, scheming with shady allies, or plunging into an ancient ruin, you will always have real choices and real consequences. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and exciting environment where everyone at the table feels empowered to tell a great story together.

Rules are...
Rules are a tool for creating the story, not hard-set boundaries. They exist to support the flow of the game, provide structure, and create interesting choices, but they should never get in the way of fun, creativity, or emotional moments.
Drew's ideal table
At my table, the focus is on collaborative storytelling, player freedom, and creating a welcoming space where everyone can be themselves. I encourage bold ideas, emotional roleplay, and character-driven decisions. The rule of cool often takes priority, and I’m always looking for ways to say “yes” when it adds to the moment. My sessions are roleplay-heavy, with a strong emphasis on immersion and narrative. I give players room to explore, improvise, and leave their mark on the world. While I use the rules as a framework, I never let them override the fun or interrupt the story we’re building together. Above all, I want everyone at the table to feel safe, respected, and excited to play. I check in regularly, use safety tools, and tailor the pacing and tone of the game to suit the group. Whether you’re a first-time player or a veteran of many campaigns, you’ll find space to shine at my table.

I love it when a player
I love it when a player takes ownership of their character and starts making bold, meaningful choices that shape the story. Whether it’s a risky plan, a vulnerable moment of roleplay, or a creative solution I never saw coming, those are the moments that make the game truly come alive.
