I, Conor the GM, welcome you to take the first steps in a adventure of a life time. In my decade plus of GM experience I unleashed players on awe inspiring landscapes of fantasy and science fiction. Giggling with glee as they used dynamic characters with tailor made weapons to fight villains of humor and horror. If you are a anxious newcomer, have no fear, as my educational background seamlessly fits training into any campaign to turn players of all skill levels into informed detectives of game mechanics and character creation. My games are played in Foundry VTT where you can see stunning visual effects, atmospheric sound effects, creative maps, and a high degree of optional customization. Campaign requests are always welcome if there's a smaller TTRPG system or adventure that's been eluding you.

I got started GMing...

10 years ago with Pathfinder 1st edition and the adventure Mummy's Mask. It was a thrill to learn about the culture of a desert town that my friends got to explore and adopt a new fuzzy friend Beary Manalow. I am incredibly lucky for these friends to have stuck with me and help me grow as a GM.

How Conor runs games

I find this section a little hard so I made a list! Being a lover of TTRPG systems I bring puzzling challenges for character builds and unique rewards that borrrow mechanics from other games! My professional improve training can match a players energy for roleplaying by creating realistic and enthralling NPCs. My passion for story structure quickly adapts a pre-written campaign to a one of a kind adventure following the players choices. With a background in film I borrow it's visual language to narrate scenery and action that is easy to follow! I am always looking to improve my GM skills and player responses are the #1 way to do so! I deal with rules issues by...

finding a middle ground everyone can agree with. I understand the necessity of a stable rule set but also recognize that everyone is at the table to laugh and have fun. I make it clear whether this will be a one time exception or add some form of difficulty to make the attempt all the more heroic.

Conor's ideal table

I craft my adventures to be welcoming to everyone, in hopes that each player can find new friends or new perspectives of how to play. I take great care in resolution management and player expectations to keep a relaxed, silly atmosphere when gaming. Whether we need a session to breathe after a tough boss fight or ramping up the tension in a pivotal scene I want each player to feel comfortable leaving the session and excited to return.
