About Connor Duvenage
Welcome Adventurers, one and all! My name is Connor, I've been running games in the TTRPG space for 5 years now, creating epic, story-driven campaigns tailored to give my players a story that centres around and champions them! I'm an actor and writer, so my skills there lean heavily in to my GM style - you'll get wacky voices, crazy sound effects and detailed plots. I love collaboration, making sure the game is fulfilling your needs, making sure everyone at the table is comfortable as we craft these stories together! So let's jump in! There's always a seat at the table waiting for you.

I became a GM because
I love telling stories, in all it's forms. I'm an actor and writer, and TTRPGs are such a good playground for that, exploring long form character improvisation and finding cool character moments more than you can on stage. And I get to shape that narrative collaboratively with players!! Love it!
My favorite books are
The Stormlight Archive by Brandon Sanderson. I love his world building, it's all so clever. I have a couple campaigns in his Cosmere RPG setting, check them out!
When I'm not running games I'm...
Performing shows with Bluey, Paw Patrol and other characters to kids! Also painting my backlog of minis....
How Connor Duvenage runs games
Super fluid homebrew style, rule of cool etc. I use the systems as a really loose guide, and then administer the things that the players and I want to do in whatever serves the story and characters best. I love working in collaboration with my players, figuring out how to give them the best experience, and then tugging on the heart strings of those backstories! I'll get deep in to the roleplay elements, but I can always bring a super fun, unique battle scene to the table. I will definitely be bringing the character voices for each NPC (As long as I can remember them all!!) But please don't feel you have to match that! I really want to tailor the game to suit your needs and playstyle!

I once ran a session...
Where I was about to trap the players in this big court case, where all of the loose ends of the mystery leading to this where going to reveal themselves and frame the players for a murder! Huzzah! Got them!.... And then my powerful sorcerer blew up the whole castle through his backstory plot...
My games focus on...
Whatever is the coolest thing we can come up with.
Rules are...
Just a suggestion XD
