About Xamious
Hi! I'm Xamious, an amateur Game Master and player with around two years of experience running tabletop RPGs both locally and online. During that time, I've had the opportunity to play with people from many different backgrounds and playstyles, which has taught me how to adapt to different personalities and create a collaborative table where everyone has a chance to contribute. I enjoy campaigns that balance roleplay, meaningful combat, mystery, and character development. While I love designing memorable encounters and exciting boss fights, my favorite moments are watching players grow alongside their characters. I believe the best stories come from difficult choices, personal struggles, and the relationships built throughout the journey, so it's not just from defeating powerful enemies. As a GM, I enjoy creating original worlds filled with interconnected lore, unique cultures, and villains whose motivations go beyond simply being evil. I strive to make each character's backstory matter, weaving their goals, fears, and beliefs into the campaign so everyone has opportunities to shine. Whether the story ends in triumph, sacrifice, or bittersweet victory, my goal is for players to walk away feeling that their characters truly changed the world, and that the journey was worth taking.

I started running games because...
When I discovered TTRPGs, I couldn't help but feel bad for forever GMs. So I volunteered to run games myself, giving the GMs a chance to finally play. Somewhere along the way, that sympathy turned into genuine admiration. Then I realized, it was one of the most enjoyable parts of the hobby for me!
People are always surprised when I tell them
That my voice acting started as nothing more than me messing around. I've been doing impressions for years simply because I enjoyed making people laugh or surprising them, long before I joined this hobby. When people ask if I do it professionally—only to be surprised when I say no.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Playing fighting games, card games, programming, and recently practicing both traditional and digital art. Occasionally, I'll also jump into Discord calls just to mess with friends out of boredom or play video games with them.
How Xamious runs games
I love roleplaying to the core. For me, tabletop RPGs are about stepping into the perspective of another person and discovering how they react, struggle, and grow within the world around them. I enjoy creating situations that challenge both my players and myself, following character decisions rather than forcing a predetermined outcome. My GMing style focuses heavily on character-driven storytelling, meaningful choices, and player agency. I enjoy creating worlds where characters' backgrounds, beliefs, flaws, and relationships matter beyond their introduction. Whether it is through allies, rivals, mysteries, or villains, I aim to make the players feel that their journey has a lasting impact on the world. For combat, I prefer encounters that feel dynamic rather than simply being a test of damage numbers. I enjoy creating situations where positioning, resources, creativity, and understanding the battlefield matter just as much as raw strength. Not every challenge can be solved through brute force, and circumstances may change how a fight begins, develops, or ends. While I enjoy challenging players, my goal is never to defeat them. It is to create memorable moments whether through intense battles, unexpected discoveries, emotional conversations, or difficult decisions since I want to brew sessions to feel like a part of a larger adventure that players will remember.

If you're into ___, you're going to love my table
Roleplay, because your choices matter, whether you realize it or not. Being into someone else's perspective can be challenging, especially when your PC's beliefs, morals, and circumstances collide. I'll engage with you with the others, and help guide you into a deeper level level of immersion.
I love it when a player
Gets into a flow state where they’re completely immersed in their character, creating a chain reaction that pulls everyone else into the moment. Roleplay can be intimidating. It requires showing a piece of yourself, and yeah, it can feel embarrassing. When it happens, we'd enjoy hours of just RP.
My perfect party mix is
A min-maxer that carries the team in combat… but is also the party clown. A roleplay-focused player with the deepest, darkest backstory ever written… also the party clown. A complete newcomer experiencing the game for the first time, paired with a veteran who memorized the rulebook after one read.
