About Kylle

I've been a dungeon master of 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons since 2017. Professional Dungeon/Game Master in OKC since 2021 I love the story telling element of RPGs. There is nothing better than gathering around a table and making friends. Currently enjoying Daggerheart and 5th edition Dungeons and Dragons.

I ran my first game...

In 2017. After listening to Campaign 1 of Critical Role, I decided I wanted to play Dungeons and Dragons. But, like many DMs, I didn't have anyone who wanted to run a game. So i jumped in and bought the Starter Pack from target and found some people to play with.

My favorite books are

Dungeon Crawler Carl, Heretical Fishing, LoTR and Hobbit, Dresden Files, most anything in the suspense/ mystery genre

The three words my players would use to describe me are...

Knowledgable, Flexible, and Intentional.

How Kylle runs games

I love crafting worlds together from the ground up and incorporating character backstories in to the story. A great mix of roleplay and combat is needed and I reward creative thinking and problem solving. My play style is a hybrid between "rule of cool" and "rules as written".

Featured Prompts

My favorite trope is...

monster has more than one phase and the environment is also deadly.

When it comes to voices

I strive to improve my vocal range. I have several that are standard, but I try to evolve. I believe that it helps set the stage for role play and can differentiate what is "in game" and "above table".

Kylle's ideal table

My ideal table would include players that know their character's wants, desires, and fears. The players would strive to increase the level of the gameplay through the narrative. I want players who aren't afraid to make bold choices and can separate themselves from their characters.

I love it when a player

Finds a way around a puzzle or encounter that I hadn't planned for.

I think min/maxing...

works when you intentionally know what your weaknesses are, and play to them. Sure, you can create the most powerful character, but if they aren't adding to the story through their failures, they are jsut here to win.
