Arkenforge
Arkenforge is a unique software in that it's a virtual tabletop designed for in-person play. Its tools help create immersive digital maps complete with animation, dynamic lighting, and fog of war that allow players to explore what their characters can see in real time, which it then projects to a display, the interactive centerpiece of your gaming table. Arkenforge is designed to be plug-and-play, so the game master has the full map, which players can access, but only what their character can see! Players can move their tokens digitally, or connect them to physical tokens on top of the display and move those instead! Touchscreen support allows Arkenforge to act as a component of physical play as well as as a visual aid. Arkenforge is a map creation and projection software that can export maps for printing or other virtual tabletops. Because it's intended for in-person play, it doesn't include any system rules, dice rollers, or automation features. It's "system agnostic," meaning not designed for any one particular game system, and can be used for any game with maps and miniatures. It does include music features and a digital campaign management module that allows game masters to keep notes and organize maps, tokens, characters, music, and other media for their games. Arkenforge is first and foremost designed to project visually stunning maps with animation, lighting, walls, doors, and other environmental features onto a screen that serves as a tabletop, a wall, or directly to players' devices at your table. It aims to create an immersive experience for groups who play in person, and is not intended for remote play.

Arkenforge Basics Crash Course
This 60-minute video covers nearly all the basic functions of creating, augmenting, and playing with maps in Arkenforge. TimorSol walks users through creating their first map, adding and manipulating assets, using layers, lighting, shadows, fog of war, creating levels, and making animations.
