About Lognar the Librarian
I am a game master who has been running Dungeons and Dragons games in person for about two years. Recently, I began running online play-by-post games and love giving players the opportunity to play asynchronously without scheduling conflicts. I am well-versed in Discord, Avrae, and Tupperbox. My favorite type of game is taking old-school or old-school renaissance (OSR) dungeons, one-shots, and one-page dungeons and adapting them to DnD to ease players into a different experience outside of the DnD realm. Favorite creators include Questing Beast, Trilemma Adventures, Mork Borg, BeholderPie, and Dyson Logos.

How Lognar the Librarian runs games
I leave it up to the players. The most important thing is giving the players choices and not railroading them. I love a good combat, but I always do my best to give players the opportunity to resolve conflicts through role-play first. I also love the idea of high-stakes, but I want to make sure it means something. I don't want the players constantly dying and making new characters. If their character dies, they should always have a chance to change the world with their death or make a heroic last stand.
