About Tommy
I’ve been part of the tabletop RPG world for about 10 years, and about 5 years ago I started GMing to bring my friends into the game. What began as a way to share D&D quickly became a passion for creating memorable stories, exciting encounters, and meaningful player experiences. I’ve run around 25 campaigns both in-person and online, primarily using D&D Beyond and Roll20, while also learning Foundry. I’m comfortable running for all experience levels and especially enjoy helping new players learn and feel confident at the table. My games balance story and combat with a strong focus on immersion. I use character voices, music, maps, and some homebrew to bring the world to life. I adjust tone based on the moment—keeping things fun and relaxed when appropriate, while building intensity during key story moments. I also roleplay enemies during combat to make encounters feel dynamic and engaging. I take pride in weaving each player’s backstory into the campaign, making every game feel personal and unique. Whether you’re new or experienced, my goal is to give you a game that feels alive and worth coming back to every session.

I ran my first game...
When I was 12. My best friends uncle moved away and he was our dm and with him leaving he taught me how to run campaigns and use the math rocks to make a good story.
My favorite books are
The Dresden files there are so many twists and turns and so many different creatures and monsters that it reminds me of a dnd campaign. I enjoy adding aspects of different lore into my campaigns.
When I'm not running games I'm...
Working at my job or in my garage building random woodshop projects. Lately I have started to make my own sets for dnd and plan to start hosting dnd in my garage I am currently making a table for dnd with built in roll trays.
How Tommy runs games
My GMing style is a balance of immersive storytelling and engaging combat, where both roleplay and action feel meaningful. I enjoy creating a world that reacts to player choices, allowing the story to evolve naturally based on the group’s decisions. Roleplay is a big part of my games. I use character voices, mannerisms, and dialogue to bring NPCs and creatures to life, making interactions feel real and memorable. At the same time, I design combat encounters to be more than just mechanics—enemies think, react, and behave in ways that keep battles dynamic and exciting. I like to shift tone depending on the moment. Sessions can feel fun and relaxed when the party is exploring or bonding, but when the stakes rise, I lean into tension and intensity to create impactful moments. One of my biggest focuses is integrating player backstories into the campaign. I work to make each character feel like they belong in the world, with personal stakes that shape the story. Because of this, no two games I run are ever the same. Whether you enjoy roleplay, combat, or a mix of both, my goal is to create a game that feels immersive, personal, and rewarding.

I once ran a session...
Where my character a Kobold sacrificed himself because he wasn't the smartest. He was told that they would be the parties friends forever so that obviously meant he would never die. Cue this to him arcane locking the door behind the party as he sacrificed himself.
When it comes to voices
I try my best but due to my heritage I quite often fall into irish and scottish accents which is great for dwarves. But I have gotten better over the years.
