About Craig
I have been GMing for years, running weekly and on-off games in a variety of systems. I think that role-playing is a great activity for players to escape their everyday lives and experience the joys of creative storytelling, where they can safely take risks to overcome challenges.

I got started GMing...
I was at university at a Role Play Society game night, and the regular DM was sick, I made something up to cover so we would get to play. That off-the-cuff game was a lot of fun; it rolled on for a few sessions before the regular GM came back, but that was enough to get the bug.
How Craig runs games
I lean more towards a Theatre of the Mind style of play where I will describe the scene, and what is going on, and players will narrate what they say and do. Sometimes this will be illustrated by maps and character tokens, and sometimes it might just be a reference image.

I deal with rules issues by...
By making a quick judgment at the time to keep the game running, I am not interested in rule debates. I am open to revisiting such rulings out of game if there is a better option.
When it comes to voices
There is no such thing as an accent/voice that is too bad or silly.
Craig's ideal table
I like a relaxed table were every on gets the opportunity to join in and have their say, engaging with the game. Rules-wise, I generally stick close to RAW, but I occasionally tinker with my own homebrew rules if I feel like it will add something to the experience. Not a fan of power gamers and rules lawyers, but I am open to hearing someone's hot take on a rule, but not interested in getting bogged down in debating such things.

My perfect party mix is
Whatever random bunch of Murder Hobos they want to play, but really impractical characters may perish. Also, characters that split the party and go off on their own may not last long. RPGs are collaborative adventures that should involve everyone.
