My favorite books are

hard science fiction and historical fiction. I'm a huge fan of the Ring of Fire (16XX) Series and the Expanse Series by James S. A. Corey. I would recommend Flood and Ark by Stephen Baxter. If you enjoy that type of world building you'll probably enjoy my games.

My favorite system of all Time is

Traveller. Right now I'm really into Mongoose 2nd Edition but I love the thin Black Books too. I have to say it's the best system for group character creation and character buy-in. It would be my privilege to run it for you one day.
