I am an avid tabletop player and believe that tabletop roleplaying is the pinnacle gaming experience that promotes advancements in social, math and problem-solving skills. I believe in player agency as well as system structure. I am happily married to an amazing woman (and player!). We have two great kids and I work in Emergency Medicine.

How Jayme runs games
It's taken hundreds of games to develop my DM style. I prefer to run slightly homebrewed dnd 5th edition with a mixture of 2014 and 2024 rulesets. My games are grimdark, gritty, serious and dangerous. I believe that the beauty of high fantasy is best paired with highly tactical, think outside your character sheet, deadly combat. Player agency is astoundingly important as well as a healthy understanding of the system, setting and table dynamics. I run alot of digital assets combined with an engaging narrative, heavy roleplay, immersive and reactive world. NPC's are not cannon fodder and my homebrewed setting is dark and complex. I run very serious games that touch on complex and often morally grey issues.
