About Briar
I've been a GM for 6 years, but a story teller my entire life. I started writing down my stories when I was 8 or 10, but I probably started telling them as soon as I could speak. I like to create games that people can laugh with and have fun but also explore deeper themes of systemic racism, trauma, inequality, and identity in a safe and inclusive place. I recently started doing events with a few other organizers where we use TTRPGS and play as a means of protest. I am out and openly trans and queer and I dream of making games that can help other trans and queer folx.

How Briar runs games
I am absolutely a world builder and I'm a sucker for narrative. If someone has a wild idea, if it narratively makes sense, I say go for it. I'm organized in a way of not being rigid. I improvise a lot, I also love having RP and more serious moments along with funnier ones. If I were to point to any one DM, I'd say my DM style is closest to Brian Murphy from Dimension20 and NADDPOD.
