How Emily runs games
I believe that playing is a group effort and the storytelling is also. A great session happens when all players get the spotlight and contribute to the story at hand. I do a fair amount of roleplay and theater of the mind, but love maps for puzzles, tactical and battle. I tend of offer a fair balance of all of the above in my sessions.

where my players job was to eliminate an entire camp of bad guys. I thought they would just go in and start killing. They ended up devising a plan to infiltrate and pose as the bad guys, waited until everyone fell asleep, poured oil everywhere and lit everything up without getting hurt themselves.
