About Nuchey
I have 3 years of experience as a GM. Tabletop games, especially D&D is a passion of mine. I have experience running both professional one-shots as well as homebrewed content. I am most experienced using D&D beyond and Discord to run sessions. I also love RPG games such as Baldur’s Gate, Mass Effect, and Fable!

I became a GM because
I became a DM because I love storytelling and building worlds—and seeing how players bring them to life in totally unexpected ways. There’s nothing better than watching a group connect with a story, make bold choices, and create something unforgettable together.
I got started GMing...
I started DMing because I’ve always loved building stories, worlds, and characters. DMing gave me a way to bring that to life and share it with others in real time. Life can be too serious at times - it's good just to relax and have fun and role play as someone else!
The three words my players would use to describe me are...

How Nuchey runs games
I would describe myself as a creative DM, rule of cool friendly, new player friendly, proficient in running sessions of D&D that feel both fun and challenging!

My games focus on...
A balance of roleplay, exploration, and meaningful combat. I aim to keep things moving and exciting while also giving space for emotional depth and creative problem-solving.
Rules are...
I deal with rules by using them as a framework, not a cage. I stick to the core mechanics when they matter, but I’m not afraid to bend things in favor of fun, good storytelling, or a cool idea. If something cinematic and awesome is on the table, I’ll usually find a way to make it work.
When it comes to voices
When it comes to voices, I’ll throw one on if it helps sell the character, but I’m not doing Broadway-level performances. It’s all in good fun—bad accents welcome!
Nuchey's ideal table
My table is story-first, character-driven, and focused on creating memorable moments together. I like to strike a good balance between roleplay, combat, and exploration, but I'm not overly rigid—if the group is vibing with a certain aspect, we roll with it. I love weaving player backstories into the world and letting your choices actually matter in how the story unfolds. Expect immersive worlds, meaningful choices, and the occasional chaos when plans go sideways (because they always do). If you’re into character development, enjoy a bit of roleplay, and like being part of a group that works together to tell a great story, you’ll fit right in. I welcome both new and experienced players—what matters most to me is that you’re respectful, engaged, and here to have fun. Min-maxers, improv actors, lore nerds, dice goblins—I’ve had a bit of everything at my table, and it all works as long as everyone’s on the same page. The vibe is laid-back but intentional. We joke around, get into character, and occasionally get hit in the feels. I aim for a table where everyone feels safe being creative, whether that’s playing a goofy bard or exploring something more serious. We’re here to tell a great story, have some laughs, and roll some dice. No drama (unless it’s in-game), no ego, just a group of folks building something cool together.

I love it when a player
I love it when a player really leans into their character—whether that means making bold choices, embracing flaws, or just committing to the bit. That kind of energy makes the whole table more immersive and fun.
My perfect party mix is
The perfect party mix is a group of characters with goals, flaws, and baggage that sometimes clash—but ultimately push each other to grow. If the party feels like a dysfunctional found family by session five, we’re doing it right.
My table is not the place for...
My table is not the place for bad vibes, mean-spirited play, or trying to "win" D&D. If you’re here to collaborate, laugh, and get into the story, awesome. If you're here to dominate or derail, it’s probably not the right fit.
