About Bea
I have 6 years of experience running TTRPGs, focusing on Dungeons & Dragons 5e. I was introduced to TTRPGs by my older brother in 2014 with D&D 3.5 and have since played D&D as both a player and DM alike. I foster a supportive and fun environment at my table and make sure my players are telling the story they want to tell. I have run games for a diverse set of players with a wide range of ages and backgrounds.

How Bea runs games
As I have an academic background in English Composition, I enjoy building campaigns with rich and detailed world building. As well, I have over 15 years of experience as an actor and am very capable of thinking on my feet and making interesting characters. As a GM, my superpower is my adaptability. I craft versatile games and gear the story towards the interests of the players and I think of familiar stories to create vibes that pique the interests of specific players. For example, I wrote a world with scheming kings, corrupt lords, and rife with political tension for a D&D 5e campaign. At the session zero my players wanted to have a light hearted and character driven adventure, so I geared my story into a "Scooby Doo" style mystery. When I brought this same world to a different party, they were more interested in tactical combat and espionage, so I made the story into a high-stakes spy thriller more in line with the vibes of "Andor". I love making each session interesting to each player and I make sure that there is ample room for everyone to roleplay. Being an experienced actor, I am well equipped to make memorable NPCs and interesting stories for each character. As TTRPGs have roleplay as a mechanic, players are in a uniquely vulnerable position when they play, so players are expected to respect their fellow player's boundaries, time, and interests. I make sure that players are aware of and respect the "hard no" topics for the game.
