About Craig
Hi my name is Craig and I've been running games for 4 years now but it feels like I've been doing it my whole life. I love running games for new players but I'm open to all experience levels. Three things I encourage the most in my games are collaborative world building, character creativity, and inclusiveness. I find the games I enjoy running the most are those where the players and characters are tied to the setting and the story emerging at the table. My favorite is to run published adventures in my homebrew world of Aechron so the players and I can create our own unique version of the story. I enjoy D&D quite a bit but I am looking forward to playing and running other games like Shadowdark, Daggerheart, and the Stormlight Archinve when that comes out.

How Craig runs games
I am equally ready to run a module as I am to homebrew an adventure. I enjoy improvising and including players ideas into the world. I like to have a mix of roleplay, exploration, and combat in every session. Combat varies from theatre of the mind to big set piece battles depending on the situation but if you are facing the big bad know I am pulling out everything I have. Even in the middle of combat you may find a new piece of info or part of the environment to interact with. And of course the baddies will be taunting you and yelling instructions/insults at each other too! Session 0s are import to me so that we can all have a good place to start the adventure together. This is where we decide on themes, tones, rules, expectations and also create PCs, NPCs, and locations together. I want to guide us all together towards a great story and good memories. All while doing it safely, together.

I once ran a session...
for 16 people and it was really fun but also super crazy.
Craig's ideal table
My ideal table loves all three pillars of D&D: roleplay, exploration, and combat. I enjoy players who create characters with clear goals and real connections to the world. The best games happen when everyone helps shape the story together by adding to the world in the moment, scheming clever plans, and standing side by side when the dragon breathes fire.
