About Elias
I have enjoyed pencil and paper role-playing games since I was a young kid, and I shifted into the resident game master role as me and my friends moved on through more and more complex systems. Story and world building are some of my favorite pastimes and I spend too much time on Tumblr posting updates to my world while I`m at work. My hopes for my games here are to get a group of players that is respectful and dedicated to the game and each other. I`m also looking for new challenges and avenues to improve myself as a storyteller, game designer, and every else a game master should be.

When I'm not running games I'm...
I do not officially work, but I dog sit quite frequently, which is why it is beneficial to game via Discord and Roll20. I love animals, painting, and binge-watching shows/movies. I game a little bit via PS4 and Nintendo Switch. I will never say no to a pet pic or a recommended show, movie, or game.
How Elias runs games
I value a very world based form of story. In my mind, It’s my job to make the world, and it’s the player’s job to mess it up. I play RPGs exactly because I love the unexpected perfection that can arise. So I focus most of my efforts on making reasonable cultures, nations, and people, and then I sit back and watch the protagonists come through and change everything. Believing in the world is more important to me than most anything else. I want to have fun and I want my players to have a good time as much as possible, but I am very comfortable despairing if the tragedy in my games feels that real.

I do value communication. I can work around so many issues, but only if I know there are issues. Every person, no matter their circumstances, is allowed at my table. Therefore, there can be a clash of certain personalities, which is normal. With that said, I can work around those issues, but I will not stand for bullying or any form of harm.
